| Mr. Kozacky
is an AV-Rated trial attorney concentrating his practice
in the fields of commercial litigation and maritime
law. Prior to starting his firm in 1997, Mr. Kozacky
worked at the Chicago office of McDermott, Will &
Emery as a partner in its litigation department.
Mr. Kozacky graduated cum laude from the
University of Illinois in 1981 with
a bachelor’s degree in political science and
a minor in meteorology. He attended Georgetown University
Law Center where he was a member of
the American Criminal Law Review and graduated
cum laude in 1984.
Mr. Kozacky is admitted to practice before the Illinois
Supreme Court, the United States Supreme Court, the
United States Court of Appeals for the Third, Seventh
and Eleventh Circuits and the United States District
Court for the Northern District of Illinois and for
the Eastern District of Michigan. He
has also appeared before several courts pro hac
vice and is conversant in Ukrainian and Russian.
